CELEBRATING 35+ YEARS OF TRAVEL TO AFRICA!
This all began with a small group and groups are still a favorite… showing our guests the most amazing places and introducing them to the most incredible people! Our groups are small – minimum 6 guests and maximum 16 guests per tour leader. There are times we have a few more but will always have a second tour leader along to be sure all our guests are well cared for. We limit the number of guests for wildlife activities – game drives & nature walks to 5 or 6 depending on the activity and vehicle. Our guides are hand-picked, some who have guided for us for over 25 years (we started when we were 3!). All of our guests are like minded, wanting to be immersed in nature and culture and we do that best because we have been doing it a long time. The relationships built over the years are apparent when our groups arrive, be prepared to become part of a new family… oh and be prepared to cry when you depart as that is a common occurrence. We’d love you to join a group but understand if you prefer to travel independently or on different dates… that’s ok too. The same detail that goes into the Group Tours also goes into the Independent Travelers.

A tried-and-true itinerary we do often as the wildlife, landscapes and cultures are just amazing! Start with elephants galore at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, then Lake Manyara’s ground water forest – a perfect primate home, next is the world heritage site – Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge and top it all off with 3 nights in the southern Serengeti National Park where we will experience calving season of the wildebeest.
